SANCIA (Sancia Zheng, b. Singapore) turns to abstract art and philosophical prose 

to explore the invisible narratives of modern life. 

Over the last two decades, SANCIA has accumulated a solid track record in landing successive brand strategies through establishing meaningful human experiences – eventually seeing her roles expand from Singapore, China, Asia-Pacific 

to Europe’s Global brand head.

Her interest in uncovering the psychology of modern life goes beyond work into life 

as she gained valuable insights across eastern and western philosophies, cultures, and dynamics during her time living between Asia and Europe.

Amidst strategies, systems, and success, she grew increasingly fascinated with 

how much of what we identify as ourselves is chosen, and how much is conditioned. 

How stories of identity, happiness, truths are shaped by the invisible hands of our time, and mistaken for ourselves.

From decoding values in the corporate world, 

she evolved her life work to decode the invisible narratives that shape modern life

— and what remains when they begin to fall apart. 

Reflecting her investigation through philosophical prose and abstract painting, 

she creates contemplative works by themes of 

success, perception, identity, mortality, and self-realisation. 

In a world presided by speed, certainty, and results, 

her continuing, existential inquiry creates spaces 

where new ways of seeing become possible 

- and through new lenses, new choices emerge. 

SANCIA now lives in Taiwan as a full-time conceptual abstract artist and writer.
