SANCIA, Conceptual Artist | Text & Abstraction, Corporate to Canvas

Thoughts are powerful. So powerful indeed, it is the past, future, now. Just yours.

Statement

Philosophical Prose x Abstract Art x Corporate to Canvas

I investigate stories we mistake for ourselves.

After two decades decoding corporate strategies, systems, and success, I turned my attention to decode the invisible narratives that shape modern life.

It was convenient to get preoccupied climbing the ladder

— yet I became increasingly entranced by the thought:
What remains when the stories we believed fall away?

Stories shaped by the invisible hands of our time.

Stories of our identity, happiness, truth.

Between roles and continents,

I learned how competence can be mastered, and rewarded.
But I learned next to nothing about myself beneath the layers.

How much of what we identify as ourselves is chosen, and how much is conditioned?

This question— one that swells with each passing day

— changed the trajectory of my life work.

I stepped off the ladder I knew— not for answers nor conclusions. But for a pause.

A pause to question what has been conditioned.

A pause to examine what has been pursued.

A pause to reflect what may have been invisible.

A pause to meet myself beneath the layers.

Reflecting through philosophical prose and abstract painting, I create contemplative works by themes of success, perception, identity, mortality, and self-realisation.

My investigation is a continuing, existential inquiry into the invisible hands that shape us— and what remains when they begin to fall apart.

In a world presided by speed, certainty and results,

my work creates spaces where new ways of seeing become possible.

And through new lenses, new choices emerge.
